Every now and then my parents surprise me with the best ideas ever. My mom told me the other night that her and my dad were going out for a nice dinner and opening a bottle of champagne on Wednesday and when I asked why, her reasoning was because there was an extra day this month. Sometimes those parents can be just so right. Cheers to an extra day in February!

Oh New York New York. What a city. Full of fashion, style, people, and lights NYC is a city that takes your breath away and makes you longing to return. Hung up on...

Short weeks always seem to go by extremely slow so this weekend was a much welcomed break. I indulged in some brunch, took on some shopping with some birthday money and spent some time in the gym. It was a great weekend of getting things crossed off the to-do list and just relaxing. Here's some other things making me smile:

I am absolutely in loooove with this blazer and bag! The blazer is velvet and I can't stop touching it the moment I put it on - which looks a bit odd when I'm at work. It's easily dressed up or down and I can wear it with anything from a skirt, to jeans, to a dress. I love the colour of the bag and how on any dull day it pops.
